Good beachside stay
The breakfast spread was diverse, and the pool offered fine views, awesome for perfect relaxation. Getting to know the friendly staff added a personal touch to our stay.
The walk to our room was quite challenging due to the steep incline. While the room was well-furnished, there were some minor issues with maintenance that we encountered.

Individual cottage with amazing seaview/ lovely staff - helpful, always smiling, very polite / nice beach and pool area - cleaned every day / not expensive restaurant with magic seaview/ transfer from & to the pier great organized - especially the checkint was not easy because of many cancelled and delayed boats coming to Koh Phangan
Beach bar was empty/ not operating - as well as the whirlpool - maybe because the weather was not good that time. In-room deposit box broken - as we heard about this, it was the same in most of the hotel rooms.

The views are fantastic, and the garden is well kept, giving it a unique, tranquil vibe. The hills offer a challenge but reward you with fine views over the beach.
Rooms lack proper soundproofing, letting in every noise, and the presence of insects is notable, with previous guests even spotting snakes. The breakfast area is small, causing long waits for food that often appears to be running low, and the limited selection can be disappointing. Accessing the hotel involves steep climbs, which might not be manageable for families with young children or those not fit enough for the hike.

location and view over the beach were fantastic, also handy to be picked up at the port, and the staff were very friendly and helpful
the food was ok but nothing special - especially breakfast. Also it is a bit remote - which is what we wanted but you need to hire a bike or spend lots on taxis/boats if you want to explore other parts of the island.

We particularly liked the location of Cookies Salad Resort as it is situated on the hillside overlooking the scenic Salad beach and cove (at the quieter, northern end of Koh Phangan) but only a few steps down to the beach. This meant that we had lovely views both from our bungalow and from the restaurant. The restaurant has a warm, friendly ambiance and is a focal point of the resort. There were other places to eat nearby but we preferred to sit on the balcony of the restaurant and enjoy their excellent food. They have a very nice pool which we enjoyed in the hot weather. We found the staff to be very friendly and extremely helpful in arranging excursions and transportation. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a beach view bungalow and were thoroughly impressed with the room...it was lovely and clean and the bed was huge! The staff were lovely and very helpful and there was a great, relaxed vibe. Haad Salad I a great area and we wished we could have stayed longer.
Not really...we loved it. If I was being really fussy it would be great to have wifi in the room. However this really isn't an issue as you can stroll to the restaurant and pick it up there.
